1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. We do not hold official records, conduct official background checks, retrieve files, or submit documents for visitors.

We identify Osceola County custodians, including the sheriff, the 77th District and 49th Circuit courts, Michigan State Police and ICHAT, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Interfere with performance or prevent others from using the pages
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or restricted area
• Use bots, scraping software, or other automated access tools
• Use site information to threaten, stalk, or harass a person
• Rely on content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Violate a federal, Michigan, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from these pages or a linked service must not be used to stalk, intimidate, harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Michigan's Sex Offenders Registration Act specifically restricts misuse of Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry information, and criminal penalties may apply. The registry supports public safety awareness. It does not authorize vigilante conduct, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit reports, background checks, or other consumer reports. Our advertising partners likewise do not offer services intended to evaluate job applicants, rental applications, insurance rates, or creditworthiness through this site. You may not use site or linked-tool data to:

• Assess credit or establish an insurance premium
• Evaluate a renter or other housing applicant
• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A check for a regulated purpose must come through an authorized Michigan State Police process or an FCRA-compliant screening provider, as the applicable law requires.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General descriptions of Osceola County records cannot determine how Michigan law applies to a person's charge, conviction, warrant, or set-aside issue. Consult a licensed Michigan attorney for advice.

6. No Warranties

All content is supplied "as is." We make no guarantee that:

• Every page is free from errors, bugs, or vulnerabilities
• Access will be continuous or interruption-free

Charges, dismissals, corrections, and Michigan set-asides can change a record. Updates and omissions are unavoidable. No statement here is an official certification from the sheriff, a court, or another public body.

Links lead to courts, the sheriff, Michigan agencies, legal-aid resources, and outside search services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, data practices, or charges. Review each destination's terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Osceola County Criminal History or its content partners owns the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required before copying, adapting, distributing, or building upon that material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses caused by site use, including reliance on information here or from a linked provider.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless against claims, demands, or proceedings arising from your use of the site or violation of these conditions, including related legal costs and fees.

11. Governing Law

Michigan law governs these terms, including applicable principles consistent with the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231-15.246, and criminal-history dissemination statute MCL 28.241a where official public records are involved. A dispute about use of this private site must be brought in a Michigan court.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions at any time. A revised version takes effect when posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or end access at any time and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one term is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. The affected provision will be narrowed only enough to make it enforceable.
